CodexKR respects intellectual-property rights and will review sufficiently detailed notices about material hosted or displayed on this website. “DMCA” commonly refers to a United States copyright process; other laws may apply depending on the parties and location. This page is general procedural information, not legal advice.
Before sending a notice
Confirm that the material appears on this website rather than only on an external download destination. Identify whether you own the copyright or are authorised to act for the owner, and consider whether a licence, permission, fair use or another legal exception may apply. A disagreement about an app, account or trademark is not automatically a copyright claim.
Information for a copyright notice
- Your full name and a reliable way for the administrator to contact you.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list when permitted.
- The exact CodexKR page URL and a clear description of the material to be reviewed.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act.
- A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorised representative.
How review works
The administrator may acknowledge the notice, request missing details, restrict material while it is reviewed, contact the uploader or publisher, or reject a notice that does not identify the issue. Removing a local image or text does not control a file hosted by an independent third party. The claimant may need to contact that external operator separately.
Counter-notices and restoration
If material is removed because of a qualifying notice, an affected party may have a right to submit a counter-notice under applicable law. It may require identification, the removed location, statements made under penalty of perjury, consent to an appropriate court and a signature. Anyone considering a counter-notice should obtain independent legal advice because the process can disclose information and carry legal consequences.
Misrepresentation and repeat issues
Do not knowingly make a false infringement or ownership claim. Misrepresentation can cause harm and may carry legal consequences. The administrator may document notices, act against repeated infringement associated with the site when appropriate, and retain records needed to manage the dispute or comply with law.
Submitting the request
Use the Contact page to begin a copyright review and state “Copyright notice” with the exact page URL. Do not send passwords, OTPs or payment credentials. The administrator may provide a designated contact method for formal notices when required by the applicable jurisdiction.
